You could try this on a subset of your library (perhaps make a new library pointing to only a TV series, then copy that across to the new server and see what happens) nfo file - I've never used this as I rely on TinyMediaManager to manage the metadata for me so I don't know what info this tracks. Jellyfin has an option within libraries settings to save a metadata into an. I use a program called TinyMediaManager (I run it as a docker container, but there's a windows executable) to grab metadata and store it alongside the video files as. There's a built-in plugin for Jellyfin for this. I use a service called to sync watched states (alongside what I've collected) as I'm more worried about losing this info than I am my media, really. What would be the best method to do this but keep all metadata and watch history? I tried doing it with just a single folder as a test by changing the path in Jellyfin but I had to repick images and everything. In short, my files are currently organized like this:Į:Media\Jellyfin\Animated Shows\Avatar\Season 1\Avatar S01E01.mp4Ī:\Jellyfin\Animated Shows\Avatar\Season 1\Avatar S01E01.mp4

#Tinymediamanager config.xml upgrade
I originally stored all my media on external drive but I've finally invested in a Synology NAS to upgrade my storage at home. So I'm currently using Jellyfin for Windows on a secondary PC I own.
